Broken things are beautiful too. Come to think of it, one of the visually pleasing things are ruins – they stand through time and still manage to look breathtaking. Last February, for work, I managed to capture several photos in The Ruins at Talisay Negros Occidental and admired the mansion for hours – including its glorious sunset. I mean, how can something so broken managed to look so beautiful? Then it hit me for a split second, just like the ruins, we must be partly damaged in order of us to stand strong.
I have my fair share of down moments and I honestly believe that without those “mishaps” in my life, I woudn’t be strong as I am today. Be Thankful for rainy days because without them, there will never be sunny days ahead of you. I am a very optimistic person and as much as possible I avoid being negative in every aspect in life – be it with family, friends & etc. But it daunted me that maybe life isn’t perfect all the time. That life does not throw confetti every single day. That life can sometimes be tough. That life can be like the beautiful ruins we admire nowadays – Slightly broken but still standing strong.
Anyways, I have been extremely busy with work & school nowadays and all my photos in my External Harddrive is corrupted. Expect me going back to regular programming once I have it fixed. I have tons of stories to tell and photos to show! For now follow me on my Social Media Platforms! Everything is @caramielrush. Have a great day!
