What better way to end your day in New York City? Roam everywhere from 5th Street to the 46th Street (of course by riding the bus. duh). I know it’s crazy but the chilly wind will surely help if you ask me. Since our Broadway show schedule is in the evening, my mom decided to just be all over the place and do whatever floats our boat – that includes shopping, eating and more eating.
By the way if you are curious, we watched Wicked and as a first timer in watching shows like this I must say that every penny you pay is worth it. From it’s production and talents, you will definitely walk out of the theatre with a big smile on your face. I know I did!
The places we visited are Central park, Grand Central Terminal, NY Public Library and of course Time Square! Can we get any more touristy? Of course! I still remember what my tita said, “On your first visit here, be a tourist. The second time you come back, be a new yorker”. 😉
We’ve been to almost every tourist-y spot you can ever ask and as a person that has a problem with attention, I forgot to document some parts of the trip. At first I was kind of sad by the thought of it but hey I am living the moment and that’s what matters.
A lot of realizations have been clear in my head everytime we drive from New Jersey to New York everyday – on how lucky I am to be able to experience this and greatful for all the opportunities that come my way. So, whatever or wherever you are right now. Always know that you are blessed and don’t rush things because everything will fall into place perfectly in God’s time. I don’t know if I make sense but… 🙂
