It’s been a while since my last travel vlog right? If you’ve been following me since tumblr days, you know that i’m a sucker when it comes to video related stuff. Albeit, my backlogs from USA, Hong Kong and Korea are still on hold, unedited and still inside my memory cards at this moment. Let me speed things up by sharing with you my travel diary when I was in Korea last January during Winter. Mind you that it was my first time to experience Winter so the vlogging and wearing layers of clothes was quite challenging. Enough with the chit-chats! I hope you watch my Korea Vlog below and please do subscribe, give it a big fat thumbs up and comment whatever floats your boat! Thank you for watching! 🙂
Broken things are beautiful too. Come to think of it, one of the visually pleasing things are ruins – they stand through time and still managed to look breathtaking. Last February, for work, I managed to capture several photos in The Ruins at Talisay Negros Occidental and admired the mansion for hours – including its glorious sunset. I mean, how can something so broken managed to look so beautiful? Then it hit me for a split second, just like the ruins, we must be partly damaged in order of us to stand strong.
One of the things I have always loved about travelling is knowing how rich the culture of a certain place is. December of last year, the tourism of Lake Sebu in South Cotabato invited over Bloggers and Media to have a few days stay in the said place. The farthest I’ve been to South Cotabato is I think the time I trekked my heart out to Lake Holon. I’ve always been curious about the other side of South Cotabato; the side where there is culture, the side where there are stories to tell, the side where there are local T’bolis who preserved their ancestral homes and the side where the land of dreamweavers live. I have a love and hate relationship with facial treatments 90% of the time! One reason is pricking, I know it’s inevitable and a must to prick your face and extract all those sebum, black & white heads sleeping in your face to prevent acne but you gotta do what you gotta do! #TiisGanda, as what the employee in Flawless said to me while I burst into tears when she pricked in my cheeks and nose area, which I am very sensitive. You have no idea how red I was after the procedure until Rejuvelite Mask Facial. Continue Reading
Somebody pinch me in a very hard way please! I have been slacking off in my “Life Recently” posts that the last time I posted was 2015. What? And it’s freaking 2017. I have no excuses other than laziness and busy schedules. The last time I blogged something was late last year and over a month of not blogging/writing something for Caramielrush, I felt something was missing. I can still distinctly remember I publish one blog post per week way back in high school and college.
I don’t know about you, but as cliché as it sounds I experienced a “Love at first sight” with Siargao the moment I stepped foot on the Island. With its palm trees and sea breeze? Any beach baby like me couldn’t ask for more other than a coconut water in my hands and lots of sunscreen to slather in my body. I know you’ll probably get sick of me repeating the word “Siargao” in this post but seriously, I can’t help it! I always have had high expectations with the said Island even before it was a hit on our Instagram feeds. And to tell you honestly, Siargao did not disappoint! Continue Reading
