I’ve traveled to a bunch of places around the globe the past year and I guess it’s safe to say that it made me an “expert” on what to bring during trips. At least that’s what I think! But throughout the years, I finally realized that I only need a few travel essentials to survive my trip. Continue Reading
A trip in Hong Kong wouldn’t be complete if you don’t take a side trip in Macau. During our Hong Kong trip, me and my friends decided to insert Macau in our Itinerary and give the Las Vegas of Asia a shot! Macau is known as the Casino Island in south coast of China where a number of tourists have fun and gamble all day long. A few weeks ago, I knew I need to get away from the city and have a complete breather before the school year starts. This is something I always do way back in college, you know, just a little escape to clear my head and possibly meditate on things that may come my way. Living in Davao means I have multiple choices on beaches just a boat away from the city and just my luck, Pearl Farm Beach Resort hosted a staycation.
I’m a person who loves summer season and I’m not saying that because I grew up in a tropical country, I just love the Philippines extra warm sun. Usually, whenever summer is coming, I try my best to book a ticket months before to plan “Another Summer to Remember”. This time, I surprisingly stayed in the city and just enjoyed the things I usually do. I hang out with my friends, watch movies and restaurant hopping. I practically grew up in Davao and I know all the nooks and crannies of the city. But the weekly routine was wearing me off and the city got very overwhelming and repetitive for me. Don’t get me wrong, you can do a lot of things in Davao but my travel bug is biting me yet again hence my Davao Oriental trip.
