Everytime I travel abroad, I remember googling the nearest H&M store and would rush into it to buy clothes and a few things in their home section. Sometimes, I would just accompany my mom and stroll around the shop and still feel satisfied – especially in H&M Home section. So, imagine my smile when they asked me to be a part of their opening last week in the first H&M in Mindanao which is situated in Abreeza Ayala Mall.
ASUS once again connected to their loyal patrons through Zenfestival and now here in Davao City. Zenfestival is basically a quarterly event that ASUS made for Zenites or ASUS Zenfone community for a day that is full of trivias, games, foods and prizes worth winning. Zenfestival 2015 Davao was held in Rekado Restaurant – A new restaurant in the metro that offers filipino cuisine foods with a twist. ASUS invited a few bloggers to experience the Zen Fun (Pun intended please laugh) while knowing more about their phones and a brief history of their company.
Let’s take a break from my travelogue up north and have a stop over with these mouth watering street foods the world has to offer. I’m a big fan of street foods since I was a kid, even though mommy won’t permit me to eat, dad is always there to back me up whenever I craved for those barbeque, isaw and etcetera. I can distinctly remember dad sneaking away when mom’s not around just to buy me fish balls and barbeque with tons of sauce that goes along with it. Because dad strongly believes in the statement, “You only live once, might as well try eating everything good.” Fast forward 5 years from now, my taste palate craved for more street foods; but not just Pinoy street food. Street foods from all over the world such as Indonesia, Brazil, Japan and many more! I bet you did too.
There are hundreds of home grown restaurants i’m dying to dine in Davao and luckily I get to try Primo! I’ve been eyeing this hidden gem when I pass by the corners of Legaspi & Gen. Luna street during my internship days *reminiscing* and said to myself, “I should try that cool place some time” But, school and obligations won’t permit! Thankfully, Primo invited bloggers from different niche to have first dibs on their added food in their menu! How lucky can we all get?
What better way to beat the summer heat? A good ol Gelato would do the trick. And what affordable and yummy gelato would I recommend? Missy Bon Bons Gelatos. I’ve tasted a few gelatos around Metro Davao and one of the best there is in the market is Missy Bon Bons. They have quite a number of flavors, from beer tasted gelatos to my ultimate favorites – Bubble gum and Blueberry cheesecake. If thats the good news, I have better one! Read under the cut to know what I am talking about!
