It’s day two in Tagaytay and the weather, comfy bed and tired body may have caused me to snuck in my bed for a few hours. I woke up very late and all I was thinking about is food – specifically pancakes and eggs. So, what better way to satisfy thy hungry tummy? A good breakfast – if you don’t know, breakfast is my ultimate favourite part of the meal. I can eat breakfast at lunch and dinner. And still, be happy camper. A lot of my Manila friends suggested that I should try Breakfast at Antonio’s since they serve great breakfast food. Since, I’m not a big fan of Hotel Foods, why not try?
Breakfast at Antonio’s is situated along Nasugbu-Tagaytay Highway and is about 15 mins ride from our hotel. Now, if you want to ride a public vehicle, you can ride a jeep that’s going to Aguinaldo highway and ride a tricycle going to Antonio’s (this only works from Taal Vista Hotel).
Antonios is such a beaut, when I entered the place it felt like home. Maybe the interiors of made it a little cozy, for me atleast. Their waiters are very accommodating as well. Be sure though to go early, since the place is always jam-packed and you wanna get that Taal lake million dollar view! Albeit, the price of their foods is on the pricey side, the foods that they serve is reasonable enough for that extra buck you pay.
I ordered myself some pancakes with eggs benedict and a choco crumble waffle pancake with a cookies & cream milkshake. Isn’t that simply appetizing for breakfast? The food is what I exactly imagined it would be, fluffy pancake, crispy waffle and perfectly cooked benedicts. It was really a delightful meal if you ask me. I will come back for more Antonios 🙂
