Just like any other millenial, I love taking photos and videos with my smart phone. I take hundreds of photos to upload here in my blog and on my other social media sites on a daily or weekly basis. Now, whenever my iPhone storage runs low, I immediately transfer the files to my Android phone. Android is relatively a phone I can depend on when storing such memorable files. I’ve had my fair share of losing files and devices being corrupted over the years. So, imagine now that I am travelling and taking photos from different parts of the world and a virus of some sort might attack my phone and delete my photos. That’s totally a blogger’s total nightmare. Some people might think it’s shallow, but the memories and value of those photos are priceless.
Before anything bad happens (which I hope not *knock on wood*), I like to be one step ahead of the virus and keep things safe with the use of my newest discovery – The AVG App. Does it ring a bell? I know you’ve heard of this anti-virus software from somewhere. The AVG App for Android is basically to help protect your phone and tablet from harmful viruses, malware, spyware, scamware and text messages and keep your personal data safe with an app lock and picture vault. To me, that sounds promising! And to top it all off, it’s absolutely Free in your Androids Play Store.
Few things that I like about the said App is that it Scan apps, games, settings and files in real-time, Enable locating your lost phone via Google Maps, Kill tasks that slow down your device, Monitor & Optimize battery, storage and data package usage, Lock sensitive apps, Hide your most-private photos in an encrypted Vault, and Scan WiFi networks for encryption issues, weak passwords and other threats. With the AVG App for Android, I know my files will always be safe no matter what I install and download in my Android Phone since i’ve been using it in my PC for years!
You can download the AVG App for your Android through this Link. Or contact AVG in this Link if you have any other questions about their anti-virus software for personal computers or laptops. 🙂
