Travel Diary: Coron Island, Palawan

One of my resolutions this year is to travel more around in my country – Philippines. And isn’t it Ironic i’m publishing this while i’m in abroad? Nonetheless, I guess it’s safe to say I need to explore my country  more and indulge what my country has to offer right? Of course, while exploring the world in baby steps. If you ask me where to visit, I would straight up recommend the voted most beautiful in the world that is Palawan. Coron Island in Palawan is a safe haven if you ask me, if you’re looking for a complete R&R, Coron is the place to be. With a hefty amount of resorts, hostels, backpacker houses or you can even couch surf if you’re on a tight budget for petes sake! We stayed in Balinsasayaw Resort during the first two nights in Coron and then moved in a pension house in town for easy accessibility. One of the things that I like in Coron is that it’s attractions are only a few minutes away from each other, like Kayangan Lake, Malcapuya Island, Twin Lagoon, Coron Bay, Barracudda lake, Sunken ship, Coral Garden, Mt. Tapyas, Siete Pecados and many more. Although I never get to take tons of photos, I surely did lived the moment during my stay in Coron. Definitely coming back after I fill my wallet with more cash. Haha! Have a great day ahead! 🙂

Coron is indeed a beautiful island! I’ve already made plans with friends to go there next year! For this year I think I’ll be on El Nido first. Hehe

Hi Miel, didn’t know you moved from Tumblr. Coron is reallt beautiful, I’m thinking of traveling this haven alone this year. Nice write up and I’m glad I found this new home of yours! Anyway, is this wordpress org or com? I’m also thinking of moving to wordpress as well but don’t know which to get, the com or the org.
