After a 10 hour slumber from all the tiresome walking and sight seeing around Saigon, I finally had all the energy to again explore the land of the rising dragon. On that day, I felt a wee bit inspired so I opted for a breezy bohemian top, my trusty good ol ripped shorts, gladiators for some action, a patterned sling bag and a wide straw hat to finish the look. And you bet I was ready to conquer the crazy streets of Ho Chi Minh City.
SHOP: BENTH THAN MARKET
LAST FULL DAY!
Basically, All we did the second day was to check out malls and more malls! Since we have no specific itenirary that day the parentals let us do our thing. I wanted to try the cruise ship but unfortunately ‘amoeba’ interrupted, as a result, I just stayed in the hotel room for the rest of the day. Bummer, I know.
Mama: Hence your big cheeks! Hahaha
BITEXCO FINANCIAL TOWER
Address: 36 Ho Tung Mau St., District , HCMC
Bitexco Financial Tower is a must visit when you are in Ho Chi Minh City since this whooping 68 floor skyscraper is one of the tallest buildings in the city. The building has a height of 262.5 metres (861 ft), making it the tallest building in the city, the 3rd tallest in Vietnam, and the 124th tallest in the world. In 2017 this building will be surpassed by Landmark 81, and will be the 2nd tallest skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City. I recommend visiting the building at around 4 PM till 6 PM for instagram worthy photos!
There you have it! My 3 day experience in Saigon. Although I wanted to stay long and visit more places and explore more of Vietnam has to offer, sadly, priorities keep on knocking my door _ school and etc. Nevertheless, I enjoyed every bit of my stay there! Definitely going back and visit more places! I’m hearing Hanoi is a good place! They say their beaches are serene. Can’t wait to go back and Explore more of Asia! 🙂
