Paradise of the North

“Like time suspended, a wound unmended — you and I.
We had no ending, no said good-bye.
For all my life, i’ll wonder why.”

Chasing sunsets, crashing waves and juxtaposes view of the cerulean sea and verdant mountains; Pagudpud is without a doubt the Paradise of the Northern part of Ilocos. After exploring the rich culture and history of Paoay we headed to the suburban part of Ilocos – Pagudpud. The said place has a great number of beaches and with that, seafood in the said latter is evident. Being a seafood lover, the 8-hour drive of exhaustion went away like swoosh. After a day of endless travelling our exhausted bodies craved for extreme R&R hence we decided to avoid staying in places where there are a large number of tourists. As a result we found this house that offers great deal for us to stay in – cozy bed, wide room, fully air-conditioned and just a minute away from the coast line. Isn’t that amazing? After hibernating a couple of hours I rushed to see the sunset near the sea and boy I was in awe the whole time. What a great way to end the day if you ask me. 🙂
